The Wrong Side of the River...

We departed Arizona having completely enjoyed our time and the adventures...

    The Tonto Cliff Dwellings...

     Casa Grande...

Saguaro and Organ Pipe National Parks...

    Bisbee and Tombstone...

And the south Arizona weather...tee-shirt days and sweet cool nights...way more than we could have ever hoped for.

Arizona sunsets, sunrises and stars - lots of stars!

And then there was just hanging out together...

Sometimes it is the - not doing and just being - which can be the most enjoyable.

And next we looked west, and unfortunately saw only California.

We found a river crossing that was not too deep and unhitched the Fox at an RV park right on the edge of the wrong side of the Colorado River.

For those challenged with geography, we were technically in California, but as close to Arizona as we could be without being wet.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Please don't tell our kids where we are...

They believe we are in China.

If they find out we're in California, they will be really worried.

The below pics from the RV park show the Colorado River - the border between AZ and CA - and the mountains of Arizona in the distance.

The only comfort was knowing we were close enough that if the crazies started getting even more crazy...or the ground started to shake, we could swim across the river back to freedom.

Wondering if maybe that's how the Mexicans think of the Rio Grande???

Let the adventure continue...
