Crunchy Grass

It finally happened...at 6:46am...

...32.9 degrees on Windy Hill.

Close enough to 32 degrees to make it the first frost of the season...it's late this year, but that's OK by me!!!

I do enjoy how nature puts on a show during a frost!

Up close...

And from a distance...

  Let the adventure continue...

  1. There is something so captivating about this. The intensity of capturing the frost up close as compared to when the focus is readjusted and the warmth of the fall colors shields the rawness just a bit longer.

I am sensing some lesson about perspective here... you may have told me about it once or twice.

"It's all about perspective... it's all about how you view things..."

If only it were as easy as changing the camera lens. Is this where choice comes in?

I will say one of the greatest lessons you have taught me and that I am not quick to forget: always chase the sunlight.

It never disappoints with its reminders of God's faithfulness.

Teach me about frost and the barrenness it brings.
