Bit of An Update...

Beethoven's 9th Symphony in D Minor...listen to it...all 1 hour and 6 minutes.

Other than a bit of Opera in one of the movements, there is much memorable music to enjoy...and some of it should be very familiar!

And he wrote it after he went deaf...never having a chance to hear it, other than in his head.

Now, some good news for all those filled with concern and sitting on the edge of their seats...

Willis and Abby both passed inspection!

Well, Abby maybe just barely, but she passed!!!

Fortunately, Willis was willing to share some tread with the Abs...

Just need to remember to keep Abby parked when the snows show!

New Easter shoes for her in the Spring.

And remember, Operators are standing by...no donation is too small for the..."Abby's New Shoes" fund...which is tax deductible!

With Stephen in the ADKs for a camping trip with his cousins -

Jens made the pilgrimage to Windy Hill...

        Always a fun time!

Autumn leaves, warm bonfires, hot spiced coffee and lots of catching up!

Saturday, we all climbed up on Clyde, picked up C&D, and headed to The Mill in Penn Yan...for a little Autumn adventuring.

The leaves along Keuka were beautiful...

The weather was windy, mid-fall warm and wonderful...

The burgers in Hammondsport were good and the fun company made them even good-er!

And you can't go to Penn Yan without going to see the pan used to create the Guinness Book's  "World's Largest Pancake".

Just thinking...they may want to consider changing the town name to "Pan Yan"!

'course we had to stop for ice-cream too!

Suggested to Colin, the signs are getting more obvious.

Might be time for intervention.

Ice Cream Anonymous has a very nice chapter nearby...errr, so I am told!

And sometime in there we found time to replace the 12v water pump on The Fox.

It's not used when connected to a normal water supply, so it wasn't urgent...

But we might want to go to Tecopa again!

Suspect the Big Freeze last winter in Blanca might be cause for the pump's early demise.

Otherwise, The Fox has been getting along just fine!

Hitching her up to Clyde on Thursday morning to get the wheel bearings re-greased ahead of our winter travel, a standard RV maintenance task...

...and her annual PA safety inspection is on Thursday afternoon.

Now, let's see Clyde at $45, Willis at $45, Abs $45, The Fox at $80...hmmm, that's 15, carry the 1...

             $215!!!

Have I ever mentioned my views on PA's annual safety inspection...

Oh, never mind!!!

Let the adventure continue...
