The Crash...

Crashes happen all the time...

even to experienced drivers...

and we are all aware...

it can happen to any of us...

at any time.

That moment when you are no longer in control...

the forces of nature take over...

and life, as you have known it...

is over.

We were in Roswell, New Mexico...

sitting at a red light...

and the light turned green.

We started forward...

trying to watch all the traffic...

and then out of the corner of my eye...

July 8, 1947, so the newspaper read...

A husband and wife, living 65 miles northwest of Roswell saw something fall from the sky, then crash during a thunder storm, so a ranch hand went out to investigate.

After checking it out, they contacted the authorities, and the Air Force showed up...lots and lots of Air Force...

Reportedly, shortly after, the Air Force contacted a local Roswell mortician for help with preserving bodies and the mortician volunteered his services and said, bring 'em over and he would help.

But the Air Force never stopped by...

And reportedly, over the next 24 hours the local Roswell ice house was depleted of ALL their ice, courtesy of the Air Force...with no explanation of why it was needed.

And the story gets even more interesting with quarantined crash sites, strange metal found in the wreckage, little dead bodies with big eyes and big heads...

...and some - not so dead.

There had been a flash

then a crash

and life as it had been

for the little green men

(and for us! )...was over.

And from what we can tell, based on the following unretouched photographic evidence, not all the little green men required body bags and ice packs.

In fact, the survivors seem to have assimilated well into the local Roswell population with none the wiser!

Domino's pizza, delivered by little green men...

Seems about normal...

(We may have actually had one of them delivering our pizza back in Sparta...)

Store Greeners...

errrr, I meant "Greeters"

Green chilies...

...green sauce...

...and little green Mariachi Band members...

...they all go together...

...kind of comforting actually!

And the local barber, who even knew???

After all, you never really see them since they are always standing behind you...

And they make the best Farmers...

They have real green thumbs...

In Roswell, they are working everywhere...

Even the city fathers are involved...

The street lights - aliens in disguise.

And my fav...30 feet tall...and all muscled up...(maybe it's the New Mexico green chilies???)

But just think, what if the Boston Celtics would recruit him?

His sign indicates he's great at dunkin the basketball!

And he'd look right distinguished in their green uniforms...

...likely good for at least 40 points a game!

All the Roswell town buses say "I Believe" in big bold letters.

And "We Believeis a common phrase found around town.

And Yes, we believe also...

We've been to the UFO Museum and Research Center...

We are one with them now...resistance is futile...

In fact, we have come to believe it is the locals who are actually doing a cover up - to protect the aliens from the government.

Since everybody knows...

Green lives matter!

Let the adventure continue...
